What do we offer?
Within our Supported Living Service - • We want to enable people to live as normal a life as possible. • We want to provide the right amount of care and support to help people achieve the maximum possible independence and, by acquiring or re-acquiring basic living skills, to help them to achieve their full potential. • We aim to give people a greater individual say in how they live their lives and the services they need to help them to do so. • We want to promote choice and independence to all people who receive our services. • Our support services include providing support and • Assistance/Guidance with ordering, storing and administration of medication. • Promote self-medication as prescribed through education and teaching practice • Assistance with shopping, budgeting, paying bills and preparing meal. • Assistance in accessing health services and religious services. • Assistance in accessing and attending college, work, or leisure activities. • Assistance with visiting friends and families. • Assistance in maintaining a functional home including household chores.
Who do we support?
We support individuals with mental health needs, providing skilled assistance in daily living, personal care, social integration, and assistive technology.
How can you access this service?
Individuals 18+ with a primary mental health diagnosis with eligible care needs.
How long can we support you for?
Referrals should be made by allocated Social Worker or CPN. If no allocated worker please contact your relevant community mental health team.
What facilities do we have?
MSA have eight, one-bedroom self-contained flats available, which consists of the following facilities within: • One separate bedroom. • kitchen facilities to develop their cooking skills. • laundry facilities. • lounge. All flats are not furnished however white goods are supplied by our RSL. Within the complex we can provide our support services 24/7 including waking or sleep in night staff. We can provide tailored one to one support and shared support services, ensuring staff are on site always.
