New Choices - Piccadilly
Bradford Provider List
Piccadilly is the sister service to North Parade; it is in Bradford City centre and sits at the top of town, with access to the many city centre facilities, including cafes, entertainment, shops, and local events.
Typically, attendees of both Piccadilly and North Parade require 1:1 support having multiple and profound learning disabilities, physical disabilities and wheelchair users. That doesn't stop us!
We are a busy bunch and being out and about is our key goal. Having easy access to public transport and our own transport, any day could include a museum visit, a trip to the park, a game of bowling, an exhibition or craft activities in the centre.
With plenty to do in the centre or in the community, activities include:
- Swimming
- Ice skating
- Cinema and theatre trips
- Cultural visits to museums, theatres and galleries
- Eating out
- Fundraising bakes and coffee mornings to raise money for charities like Children In Need and seasonal holidays
- Baking
- Sensory storytelling and music
- Arts and crafts
- Parachute sessions
- Hair and beauty
- Relaxation and massage sessions
All personal eating, drinking, personal care needs, medication and moving and handling is accommodated. We have a close working relationship with clinicians and health professionals to ensure people can enjoy new experiences whilst keeping safe and within their health needs.
Want a service where adventure is abound and disabilities don't stop us? Come visit us at Piccadilly.
