New Horizons Community Care Ltd
-
At New Horizons Community Care Limited, we provide high-quality care and support for young people, and adults. We take pride in creating environments where individuals feel seen, valued, and supported in their journey towards independence and personal growth. We want to make real life experiences within easy reach for individuals that can find it hard to navigate the world and its challenges. Our mission is to empower children (13+) and young adults—particularly those with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, and associated needs—to lead meaningful, connected lives. Through a person-centred and inclusive approach, we aim to reduce social isolation, promote independence, and support individuals to build the confidence and skills they need to thrive in their communities and supported living settings.
Our organisation has grown organically over the past 15 years, beginning with the founder’s work as a Personal Assistant supporting a small number of children. This grassroots approach laid the foundation for a deep understanding of individual needs and community-based care. Over the last 12 years, we have expanded steadily, enabling us to recruit, train, and develop a dedicated team of staff from the local area—strengthening community ties and promoting local employment. The team have over 60 years of experience working in education and the social care field and have a strong background in supporting young adults.
