How long can we support you for?
Our support is not time-limited. We can provide long-term, ongoing support for as long as the individual continues to benefit from the service and it remains the most appropriate placement for their needs. Some people stay with us for transitional periods, while others remain for years as part of their long-term living arrangement.
Our approach recognises that progress, independence, and personal development do not follow a fixed schedule. We work at the pace of the individual, adapting support as needs change over time — whether that means stepping support up during periods of increased need, or gradually reducing it as independence grows.
Support continues for as long as:
it remains appropriate for the individual
the placement continues to meet needs
they feel safe and comfortable in the environment
the local authority agrees it remains part of their support plan
There is no expectation or pressure for an individual to “move on” unless it is part of their personal goal or assessed as beneficial to their wellbeing.
What facilities do we have?
one bedroom self contained flats with additional lounges
Do we offer respite care?
No
How is the service managed, Housing or Care?
MSA Supported Living manages the care and support provision, while housing is provided through a partnered or external housing provider. This ensures a clear separation between tenancy rights and care delivery, in line with supported living principles and national guidance.
🏠 Housing Management (Tenancy & Accommodation)
Accommodation is managed by a registered housing provider / landlord.
Individuals have their own tenancy or licence agreement.
They hold housing rights independently of their care package.
Housing issues such as maintenance, repairs, tenancy matters and utilities are handled by the housing provider / landlord.
This ensures that individuals can remain in their home even if their care provider changes.
👥 Care & Support Management (MSA)
MSA Supported Living delivers:
personal care (where appropriate)
support with daily living skills
emotional and behavioural support
medication support
community access and social inclusion
outcomes-based independence building
person-centred practice
safeguarding oversight
staff supervision and training
MSA is responsible for staffing, risk planning, and day-to-day support provision.
