New Choices - Shipley Resource Centre
Bradford Provider List
Shipley Resource Centre is a two-minute walk from the town centre. The site offers a wide range of activities from tabletop tennis, arts, craft and cookery. We also offer music, sensory and relaxation therapies. With good access to the local community, public transport and our own vehicles, we are able to get out and about to the swimming pool, bowling alley, library, supermarkets, shops and gyms. Exploring much further afield for walks, meals out and day trips.
Within the service people access a wide variety of activities such as:
- Tutor led singing, drumming and guitar playing
- Tutor led saxophone, drumming and singing sessions
- Tutor led Arts and Crafts sessions
- Sensory sessions, stories and intensive interaction
- Taste and Smell sessions
- Jabadao
- Beauty and Nails
- Tabletop activities
- Communication sessions, signs/pictures and Makaton
- Floor and sports activities to promote movement
- Disco and karaoke
- Minibus outings
- Sensory garden/Outdoor space
