RCUK - Rohingya Centre

The Rohingya Centre is a community centre for Rohingya and other refugees in the Great Horton area of Bradford.

We offer a range of services designed to support Rohingya and other refugees as they settle into their new homes in their local city. Our dedicated team is here to assist them every step of the way.

Our services include:

  • ESOL Language Classes: Offering English language lessons to improve communication skills.
  • Employment Support: Assisting with job searches, CV writing, and interview preparation.
  • Generalist Advice and Support: Providing information and assistance in following areas: welfare benefits housing; debt; immigration; consumer issues; employment; domestic violence.
  • Health Services: Connecting refugees with healthcare providers and mental health support.
  • Educational Support: Helping children enrol in schools and providing adult education opportunities.
  • Cultural Orientation: Offering workshops and resources to help Rohingya refugees understand and adapt to their new culture.
  • Social Integration Programs: Organising community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging.
