BCB Radio Times
This is a weekly afternoon radio session for older people at BCB Radio. You will be able to find out how radio works, learn the skills to produce and present a radio programme, and then be part of the team of volunteers that will present a regular radio programme on BCB Radio. Whether you've always wanted to be on the radio, interested in learning something new, looking for an interesting volunteering opportunity, passionate about your community - or just fancy a fun afternoon in good company then do get in touch. BCB (Bradford Community Broadcasting) provides the community radio station for Bradford, broadcasting on 106.6fm and on line www.bcbradio.co.uk . We train and support local people to become volunteer broadcasters, producing and presenting the radio programmes that they want to listen to! Based in the city centre, BCB provides a community hub for people from diverse backgrounds, life experiences, ages and abilities to come together as volunteers and contribute to their community radio station.
