Dominica Association of Bradford Wellbeing Group
The Dominica Association (Bradford) will provide a Day Opportunities projects for, but not excusively, senior citizens of African Caribbean (AC) heritage to promote social inclusion in the community. The key aim is to be a friendly, welcoming place offering a support service for AC elders to ensure the wellbeing of its community. Days and times of operation are Wednesday's and Thursday's between 10am and 3pm.
Two grant funded projects are delivered in support of the above, Centre Based and Outreach, and Outbound and Community.
We also cater for seniors who have hearing impairment / deafness, and also people with dementia.
Activities include information, guest speaker and seated exercise.
