Upper Bolton Social Club
Upper Bolton Social Club deliver a range of activities and support from their Commonunity Room, serving the neighbourhoods of Eccleshill, Bolton Junction and Undercliffe and allowing participants opportunities to make new friends, helping to reduce the liklihood of loneliness. Sessions include a Lunch club, bacon butty coffee mornings, a chess club, bingo sessions, weekend socials and music events. Activities are also popular with referrers who are looking for a welcoming, friendly and engaging environment for older people living with dementia or memory loss, particularly those who would require may require the support of trained volunteers or staff whilst attending activities in the community. They are able to offer inclusive, interactive dementia friendly activities with their inflatble screen and projector.
