Hirst's Home Befriending & Companionship

Hello, I'm Nicola and I created Hirst's Home Befriending & Companionship. 

I'm a confident, chatty, cheery and compassionate person who has a lot of experience caring for the older person. I have a strong moral compass and believe that people should be treated with respect, honesty and dignity. I have an enhanced DBS and i'm fully insured. I have my own clean and safe vehicle and I'm a non-smoker. 

My befriending and companionship service is specifically tailored to suit your individual requirements, below are some examples of the services that I can provide: 

Companionship
I can simply provide companionship whether that may be having a chat over some tea and biscuits, or attending groups and or sharing hobbies and interests.  

Shopping trips 
I can help assist with shopping trips or I could go on your behalf. I can come with you on trips to the post office or bank to help support you if needs be. 

Trips Out 
Maybe you'd like to go and visit a park, garden centre or a local coffee shop, prehaps you'd like to go visit an old friend who may not be local to you - I can get you out and about, drive you places and help support you on trips out. 

Appointments
I can support you with doctors / hospital or other outpatient appointments if I have the availibility to do so. These can be added alongside regular sessions. 

Domestic
I can provide help with light domestic duties such as laundry, vacuuming and light meal preparation including washing and tidying up. 

Dog Walking / Pet Care
I previously had my own dog walking business so I'm more than happy to help assist with any pet care duties, this could also include taking pets for routine vet check ups.  

Meet & Greet 
I offer a complimentary meet and greet for all new clients to discuss your needs in more detail. I can go into more detail about the bespoke service that I offer as well as the charges for my service. It's important that you can get to know me and feel at ease with me and that I would be the right fit for you. I would always encourage that you bring along a trusted friend or family member to help support you during the meet and greet.
