Wellbeing Cafes
Our aim is to provide weekly Wellbeing Cafés to older people who have restricted access to activities due to poverty, mobility, anxiety, accessibility, or language barrier (We speak Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, Eastern European)
We expect to have approximately 15-20 people at each session.
We expect a core membership from the elderly men’s and women’s groups, but also welcome and support others attending the café across the 12mths.
Our aim would be to offer these sessions over 48-50 weeks of the year.
Due to our predominately BAME community members and considering cultural needs we will operate for 55+ men and 55+ women separately.
Operate in wards: Toller, Manningham, Allerton, Heaton, CIty
15 hours per week
