Stay and Play Session and Craft Group

The weekly coffee morning and craft group has developed further into a separate craft group where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, ethnicity or ability. Some members can help others to develop their skills in a particular area and another time help someone else. The group is very friendly and we have people of all ages joining together and making friends. The coffee mornings are continuing with elderly visitors chatting among themselves and also enjoying watching children play and helping where they can. We find this is a good opportunity for outside agencies to visit in an informal setting with no pressure on anyone. We have a paramedic who comes regularly and can offer advice and direct people to the appropriate care giver in a friendly, approachable manner. We have been able to advise people, on these occasions, on other agencies that might be of benefit to them.

We continue to make known our activities known, through various means, to encourage more people to come.
