Golden Age Social Day Care Bradford
Project 1 - Wednesday: A social gathering for older people to meet old friends and make new ones. We promote good healthy and independent living, well being and help to overcome loneliness and isolation. Freshly cooked hot meal and drinks are available and also activities such as: cards, dominoes, brain teasers, bingo, 'Dance On' (seated exercise), speakers on relevant subjects such as Safety Aspects at Home, excursions, monthly hairdresser available, Christmas and Easter dinner parties and if requested a birthday celebration plus the local Polish Parish information for those who want it. Participants can come using public transport, taxi or family lifts as well as the availability to be picked up and taken home by Access Bus. We also welcome supporting family members to join in with participants.
Project 2 -Friday: As the Wednesday session apart from the different more easier seated exercise and a monthly mass held for spiritual needs.
