Parking Permits

There are two different types of permit.  

• For family members who are carers visiting a permit area then they would be able to apply for a ‘Special Permit’ which are free of charge and approved by Highways for the carer to visit a particular location or scheme.
• Care Providers can apply for a permit per vehicle for their care staff, under “Health Visitor” permits. Health visitor permits enable visiting carers to park in limited wait bays and residential parking areas for up to two hours
