New Choices - Culture Fusion

Bradford Provider List

The Culture Fusion Service in in the heart of Bradford City Centre in the fantastic YHA (Youth Hostel Association) building.

The YHA offers all sorts of adventures and activities including wall climbing, music production, crafts and woodwork to give a wide variety of opportunities and activities, and lots of fun!  We currently support ten people each day and can expand the service to accommodate more.  We offer classroom-based activities and regularly go off for the day to enjoy activities across Bradford and beyond.  We regularly attend local community activities and events at, for example, the museum, city park and the library.

Some people enjoy going on regular walks, including our wheelchair users, so we always look to take advantage of good weather days.

  • Culture Fusion offers sensory experiences of touch, taste and smell to stimulate senses and provide tactile examples to reinforce verbal expressions.
  • In addition to our activities, many of the people who attend Culture Fusion enjoy and benefit from relaxation sessions – we have chill out areas with beanbags, massage and sensory tools.  Hair / beauty / health awareness sessions are promoted and taught as are healthy living and building self-esteem and confidence.
  • Many of our sessions are led by accredited and qualified subject expert tutors to ensure we are at the forefront of teaching practices and products.
  • The service holds regular meetings called ‘New Voices New Choices’.  In these meetings people can share their views, concerns and any changes to the service they attend.
  • We also share opportunities across our services to ensure everybody has the chance to enjoy every day with New Choices.

If you want a fun, active and enjoyable day with friends and great staff, come and say hello and have a look around!
